Poker Review On Ben Roberts
Ok in Poker you always have a nickname Ben Roberts is "Gentleman Ben". Quite honestly I'd never heard of Ben Roberts before I read his poker article in Full Tilt. Check it out here. Then I figured I'd check up on old Ben Roberts.
Ben was born on the 3 November 1956. He's an old pro and I guess you and I could learn from a guy that's been playing poker this long. I'm sure he's seen his ups and downs but here are a lists of his ups.

Ben believes one of the essential elements to the game of poker is the mathematical aspect. He says, “You need to know the odds of certain hands and you don’t need to know exactly to the last decimal but you need to have a very good idea.” He concedes there is clearly a psychological aspect to the game of poker as well, saying, “When it comes to poker this plays a very big part. So you have to be careful not to trigger off your instinctive reactions to unpleasant situations like losing a pot for instance, which in fact, is insignificant. The whole idea is too enjoy yourself in order to produce your best performance.” With a blend of mathematical skills and awareness of natural human and psychological elements, its no wonder he has carried such a well-respected reputation as a card player for so many years. - WPT interview
I'm sure an old poker pro like this will be kicking it around for a fair time still and maybe you'll check him on the WPT tv show and say yeah I heard about Ben Roberts.
