We all know that poker players are generally consider to be geeks. Hey all you have to do is look at the final table of any WSOP and you’ll know that poker players aren’t exactly there because of their amazing looks. Poker players are human like the rest of us but occasionally a special poker competition takes place that gives the rest of us a chance to watch celebrities playing poker or poker babes playing poker.
Let’s face it who doesn’t want to watch half naked woman playing poker. I’m all for this concept and apparently last year 2004 this actually happened. The great thing about poker players is they generally have disposable income and can afford to pay to watch this kind of action.

Getting back to more mundane and realistic poker babes out there. There are a couple of really hot poker professional woman. For me the hottest of the poker professional babes out there is Evelyn Ng. Evelyn Ng also plays a fairly mean game of poker and I won’t be taking her on any time soon on the poker tables.

The fact of the matter is that there aren’t too many Poker babes right now that are making it big on the circuit. I guess you will have a better chance of finding hotties on the tennis court but then again in Poker there is no male female poker tournament circuit, it’s a free for all and that’s the way it should be. Poker is about brains and not brawn and what advantages do men have over woman on this front. None if you ask me, chess players have similar stand points on this matter and some of the Grand masters of the chess scene are woman. No quarter asked or given I tell you and long may it stay that way. The fact of the matter is that it’s going to be great when more woman play poker because the natural statistical ratio of hot woman will evolve. Not quite like a fashion show but you will find you will have more poker babes like Evelyn Ng playing and that can’t be a bad thing.
