Poker Deposits Reviews
First of all I do not live in the USA. So I am not governed by the Laws in the United States.
Now for those of you sitting in the USA you must be thinking that this is a good thing. Well in fact the problem is that up till now the USA has been the whole world of poker for most online websites. That's why you see that Party Poker, Paradise Poker and the big names that have pulled out of the US market are losing as much as 90% of their revenues.
Up till now the poker market has been focused on the USA. The depositing facilities are available to people outside of the US but collecting the money after you have put it in with your credit card becomes a completely different issue. Online payment portals are slack when it comes to accepting people outside of the US for the recieving of their cash outs. It's like if you don't live in the UK you don't exist. The outside world would love to play poker but the payment options are limited and poorly run but the online payment portals.
If there is one thing that may come out of this disaster in the US is that the rest of the world may actually be heard now. The fact is that online payment portals could afford to ignore the rest of the world because there is so much money in the US to be made. It was more profitable to concentrate on the easy money. Now that this option is no longer available maybe the folks at the online payment portals will change this attitude and the rest of the world will get a look in.
Asia is the next big market obviously but overlooked markets include Africa and the Middle East. If you live in these markets you are virtually black balled. Hopefully this will change soon and with it a new and improved global poker market will emerge that accepts all currencies and pays to all markets. Poker has so much more potential and maybe through this tradgedy a new improved face of poker will emerge in the rest of the world.
I for one still haven't seen this side of the poker world but I am waiting and hoping that it will happen soon. Please let us know if you have had different experiences recently.
