It’s amazing how the world series of poker (wsop) has grown over the years.

2005 World Series of Poker (wsop) is looking to be even bigger this year with over five thousand competitors. Poker is one the biggest most played sports in the world exceeding golf with over a hundred million players. You can expect more big money for poker too and the World Series of Poker is the best place to find it.

Big sponsors and even bigger ego’s it’s the game that favors the guy with the brain and the balls. Poker tournaments like the world series of poker sure bring that on.

Will it be a new face or will an old pro pull it off? That’s the question going through most poker peoples minds right now, since poker is attracting people from all over the world the competition is getting to serious new levels and this means new talent with more dedication. Will it be and old hand or a new face like David Williams. So many questions are being left unanswered.

The professionals all want this title, and its not just the prize money, it’s the endorsements and publicity that go with it. It’s the best of the best competing under the spotlight for pokers most prestigious prize. Wow! It gets me excited just thinking about watching the first show on ESPN.

Well be sure to check out what the folks are saying in the forums and don’t forget to watch. If you want to maybe win a seat into the big game itself we have selected a few great places to play online.

WSOP Predictions

It's difficult to predict this years winner because of the nature of the game. Competition is going to be very stiff and with over 5000 players at the 2005 wsop event its anyones guess on who is going to walk away with the first prize this year. What we can be certain of is that the professionals will be there in full force and this is going to mean that a number of pro's are going to be on the final table.
